Bds Quits as Sweden Forfeit CBNations

The Team-Sweden manager, bds, has this morning resigned his post after his team forfeited the Germany game last night. I won't go into detail, but in short, the game was forfeited due to complications with both teams pings on the chosen servers.
The semi-final of the CounterStrike Nations Cup ended with Sweden refusing to accept the admin decision that the second map should be played on a server where they would have the exact same advantage as Germany had had during the first map.
In this rant, bds calls ClanBase 'corrupt' and states his resignation at the end. The CB Nations cup admin, Godsmurf, has posted his side of the story over on Clanbase. It's a shame for the favourites to go out this way, but I'm sure Germany and Austria will both prove to be worthy finalists.

Now that's a bit low. He's really throwing all his toys out of the pram isn't he?

If "Corruption 1" was such a problem, why didn't he complain properly THEN?
And seeing as they managed 12-12 in the first map, why not play the second map on another server, win (cos tbh my moneys on sweden with pings equal, let alone on their side), and then show up the shambles? (It rubs it in more :P)

12:57 3/2/2003		 everyone seems to say cb admins are corrupt these days, always biased towards the "other" team, bds's arguement is bit of a joke and it didn't help that he acted like a child showing total arrogance towards the cb admins about the second server discussions, looks like he is just trying to cover his back with that list of "corruptions" he's so kindly noted down for everyone.
Saying that however, maybe cb should look into a new method of picking servers for games like that, prehaps based on playing both maps on 1 neutral server. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

However 2 players (maybe 3) were playing from a LAN cafe so how was he suppost to know that they would be getting 10-20 ping? In the first game the german players had around 30 ping whilst sweden had about 60 with one 250. Who always happen to be German. And Sweden had 2 30 pinging players, so maybe that's who bds got info from? Maybe he said in priv chan what do you ping to this, 2 of them said 30?

But they were playing with someone on 250 ping, with the extra s***ty lag you get from playing on a foreign server. It's virtually playing with 4 men. Considering the fact that they both agreed on servers beforehand, and the advantage that Germany had being on LAN (so bds says), seems kinda dodgy to me by CB. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

and the guy with 250 ping won a 1v4, id hardly say he can complain about registry. and yes i would say playing on lan like 10-20 ping is MUCH more advantage over 60ms, than 30ms is over 60ms. matrix server:
four swe player had ping 3-4, one had 15-20. the germans had 45-60.

sweden refused 2 play on a server with ping 20 for them and 50-60 for germany ... errr ?
also swe "used" a map bug = - 2 round wins 10:14 german map 2 be played, are you scared ?!

Also this is just my opinion but blackop is truly the worst admin ever. I remember Team-UK v Finland he adminned and the guy is Finnish for christs sake.

I mean I admit the whole clanbase is corrupt thing was a bit of drama, but if you read both stories(which I did, yes I am a sad loser :E) you will see that clanbase clearly didnt follow their own rules.

I think its a shame that this happened, and I think bds is a bit of a drama queen, but clanbase f***ed up this time, clearly not following their own rules for the nations cup 3.
