Team UK vs Ireland Result

After a mighty fine display from the Irish, it's the UK that have come out on top after a pretty even and exciting matchup. The Irish started with a bang, and 8 rounds in they already had 3 players on a whopping 0-8. The UK were having none of it though, and with fine individual performances from AdY and Kardy, they took the half 15-0, despite the Irish giving it their all. The 2nd half pistol round quickly went the UK's way, as did the points. Here's a roundup:

If we compare the first half frag totals we can see how close Ireland actually were to causing an upset. UK managed a combined 89 frags first half, compared to Irelands 23, as you can see it really was too close to call and one would urge a rematch as soon as possible.

Unlucky ireland, as much as everyone hates them, sG all play fair and have let us use our WA in officials without any problems, Cbble can go either way at the end of the day and they do pretty well against euro teams with equal pings.
