So whatever happened to Protex?
Name: Philip "Protex" Wride
Best known for? Managing some random teams, some involvement with a few LAN events, err... oh yeah that site UKT donkey's years ago, and plenty of other bits and pieces.
Best memory? Tough call really, had some fantastic experiences at LAN events across the world and the media work was really great.
Biggest regret? Gaming taking over from 16-18 and not focusing on my sport more after earning regional honours.
When did you quit CS? July 2009 officially although there has been talk in the office of getting a few games in after hours so who knows.
What are you doing now? Currently the FIFA UK Community Manager for Electronic Arts having moved on from Elysium Gaming and completing an MSc. in International Marketing.
