After developing the Team Fortress Site UKFortress, Appz came up with the idea of a sister site, covering Counter-Strike, a popular online game, still unknown by some, but set to be the biggest online game to date.
With the help of alpha, the founder of UKFortress, Appz set out to create his ideal CS Site. Designed by him, and coded by alpha, and maintained by the dedicated writers who share their love for Counter-Strike. UKTerrorist soon became a big hit, gaining thousands of visitors every month, and growing in popularity with every passing day.
The team set out to offer the CS community something different, regular content, and original content, interviews that didn't scratch the surface but opened a big gaping hole, coverage of gaming events and the news that matters. The site has been growing continually, with an ever increasing amount of visitors each month and we don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
In alliance to our promise to maintain this site, and make it the best of its kind the team of UKTerrorist decided around April 2001 to redevelop the site, in secret, to re-launch it late summer/early autumn 2001. Unfortunately, with the developers busy with work and study, deadlines slipped, and in attempts to make everything perfect, things took longer than expected. But, we believe, this new incarnation of UKTerrorist.com is by far the best.
With a brand new site structure having been developed, the behind the scenes functionality of the site is unparalleled. In accordance to this, the future of UKTerrorist is looking very bright, you can look forward to more fresh and regular content than ever before from a team of writers who, being gamers, know exactly what the gamers want and will provide it.
