Last LAN Event: Intel Masters - Finished joint 3rd
PS2002: N/A
Line-Up: m0rph, Vip, Dartagnan, Gideon, Craig, Bom
Player to look out for: Bom – His skill has never been brought into question but it will be interesting to see how he has fitted in with a new team after leaving erm:cs.
These guys have a history of 3rd place finishes at top UK LAN events and are looking to improve on that with a changed roster. The additions of Bom and Dartagnan have given the squad another dimension of all-round quality. Their individual skill is equal to any clan out there in the UK scene at the moment but their skill as a unit has sometimes been called into question. I believe they have what it takes to come 1st but it depends on how hard they practise between now and the event.
My Prediction: 2nd Place – Excellent squad with quality throughout, unfortunately I don't think they have had enough time to gell together as a unit. Beating 4K won’t be easy so I can envision a 2nd place for OMG!
Sponsors: Intel
Last LAN Event: Intel Masters - Finished 1st
PS2002: 5th – 8th
Line-Up: Wright, Harriman, Kwak, Luck1ng, Mangiacapra, Migotti
Player to look out for: Migotti – Formerly of SK, xenon is no stranger to playing Counter-Strike at a top level. Many saw him in action for the first time at Intel Masters but believe me, this guy has a lot more to offer. Hopefully we will see it at UKT LAN.
Not much to be said about this team really. It's been exactly 1 year since they didn't win an event in the United Kingdom and Ironically the event they did not win was PS2002, so who knows? We may be instore for another shock this time round. However they posess quality and depth throughout the squad and have what it takes to win this LAN event. Currently holding the UK #1 spot I cannot see this changing any time soon.
My Prediction: 1st Place – They will breeze through the first few rounds and in my eyes will not face a tough challenge untill the later rounds. These are the guys to beat and at the moment I don't think anyone can.

Last LAN Event: N/A
PS2002: N/A
Line-Up: TeppuM, bagz, Black3y, WaZ, Khe
Player to look out for: Khe – This ex-RedWhite player is not known to quite a lot of the UK players and has a chance to impress at this tournament.
Imminent is a new multi-gaming clan and their .cs faction is made up mainly of the wellknown erm:cs who finished 5th at the Intel Masters. Surviving members of that team WaZ, Black3y and TeppuM have had a taste of top UK LAN events so should not be phased by the atmosphere. One critical thing to note is that erm:cs have lost what many consider as their better players in Giz,Bom and Monst, How they will perform without these players is yet to be seen.
My Prediction: 5th - 8th - With a new squad I can see this lan being a bit tough for them but I feel they will pull through on the day and do quite ok. They will struggle against the bigger names but have the potential to find form and sneak into a top 4 placing. Unfortunately I can't see it happening.

Last LAN Event: i14 - Knocked out in 1st round
PS2002: N/A
Line-Up: roaddogg, baron, Sy, wolfman, madcat
Player to look out for: roaddogg – I have seen this kid play at i10 and I was quite impressed. Known to many because of his 'operation ownage' days roaddogg is quite a tactically sound player and it wouldn’t supprise me if he shows something the watching crowd.
In my eyes these guys are going to the LAN with aims of a 5th – 8th place at best. Without knowing too much about them appart from that they recently were promoted into Barrysworld Division 2 and came 2nd in the Savage league I cant imagine them leaving a big impression on the teams at the LAN itself.
My Prediction: 9th – 16th – Will be a great learning curve for these guys and I hope they enjoy it.

Quite an unknown entity for the tournament but these guys have been around for a long time. Mainly an internet clan playing in various online leagues GLtC have established themselves as 'old skool'. They must have been practising hard for this event and it will be good to see them in action at a high profile event.
My Prediction: 9th – 16th – I don't feel as though this clan has any chance of progressing in the upper bracket and will have to face some tough games in the lowe bracket to advance. I can forsee an early exit.

Last LAN Event: CPL Winter UK Qualifiers – Knocked out 1st round
PS2002: N/A
Line-Up: arma, sloop, liam, ste, dave
Player to look out for: arma
Finesse formed at the latter end of 2002 and have slowly been trying to inprint themselves on the UK scene. Finssese attended the CPL UK qualifiers held at the Northampton IT-Centre in the winter months and were beaten soundly in the early rounds. The LAN was probably a great learning curve for them and gives them a slight advantage over some of the teams attending.
My Prediction: 9th – 16th – Unfortunately I can't see them sneaking into the top 8. The team has changed a lot since their last LAN event and I don’t see them doing much 'inprinting' at this event.

SFAL have been drafted in due to Ketamine dropping out. They have been around a long time but this is their first LAN event. They will be looking to prove themselves a bit at this LAN and lookforward to compeating.
My Prediction: 9th – 16th – Not experianced enough to challenge anything serious. Hopefully we will see them at more of the UKT events.
Last LAN Event: CPL Winter UK Qualifiers – Knocked out 1st round
PS2002: N/A
Line-Up: ryuuri, shiryou, onshuu, marashino, b0p
Player to look out for: b0p – UKT Fragger of the week
Kensai are a decent online clan who are in the top divisons of various leagues such as Savage, BWCSL and UKCSL4u. How this transmits to their LAN play is yet to be seen but three storming victories at LANarchy Lan go quite a way to supporting the fact that they aren't coming to this event with plans of leaving early.
My Prediction: 5th – 8th – I think they will be worthy 6th or 7th placers with a few decent performances along the way. I mean come on… they have b0p.

Last LAN Event: CPL Winter UK Qualifiers – Knocked out 2nd round
PS2002: N/A
Line-Up: DoZ, Geordie, Shaq, accidduck, dark, wolfie
Player to look out for: Shaq – I have met this dude in real life and he's a sound bloke. He was at PS2002 with barcodes who unfortunately got beat by 4K in the first round. He has quite a lot of experience and will catch a few peoples eyes.
Doesn't matter who you are you are bound to have heard of this clan at somepoint in your time. Whether it be for TT's antics or their constant presence in some of the top online competitons. Disturbed have a lot of potential and I believe they should have made more of an effort to make an impact. Member problems and ‘outside the game circumstances’ have surely prevented them from doing so but its time to put that behind them. This LAN event will be a ‘make or break’ in my eyes.
My Prediction: 5th – 8th – Comfortable top 8 finish.

These guys are a ‘fun merc team’ which have formed together for the UKT Secondary Strike LAN series. In my opinion they have a good chance of doing well but lack the practise and team work to make that much of an impression at the February tournament. With 2 unkown players who will be announced on the day we can only wait and see.
My Prediction: 5th – 8th – A little too early for these guys yet. In some of the later tournaments I believe they are definitely worth backing.

PS2002: N/A
Line-Up: Stannly, Arak, emfive, sol, Song, madSpunK
Player to look out for: Stannly – this ex UKLA player has a good knowledge of the game and has proved he is a good player. I predict he will prove it again at UKT Northampton
Last Chance have made an impression in online competitions since day 1 of their ‘formation’. Participating in their first open cup they did well in division 2 getting beat in the end by a strong o8s line-up. So far they have won all their BWCSL games and are no doubt practising hard for this tournament.
My Prediction: 4th – I don’t think people believe Last Chance can pull off the goods at this LAN but what people forget is that they have tested LAN players who used to play for UKLA and 6K^. A good performance from them is what I expect.

Conclusive are a very new clan and havent compeated much online or at LAN’s. They were knocked out of the ECSL Burstfire.net cup by Blacklight and may be a little unprepared for the event. However, the LAN will provide a great learning curve for them and I wish them the best of luck.
My Prediction: 9th – 16th – Unprepared and unfortunately just don’t have the skill. Teamwork will be a huge factor in them doing well at future LAN events and I hope to see them at the UKT series regularly.

Another team that will not doubt be attending for the learning experience. These guys havent been together that long but their members are fairly experienced LAN attendees. Most have been to the I-series and other events such as the Gamejunkies LAN’s.
My Prediction: 9th – 16th – Just not good enough to place a sturn challenge. Team work will come with patience and the attendance of more events.

PS2002: 2nd
Line-Up: Raider, Toomy, Messiah, Puneet, Houd, Nighty, Sin
Player to look out for: Messiah
Uninspired but with a different name. These guys haven’t changed much and still possess the individual skill to be number 1. It does seem to be becoming a pattern that when this team does bad it folds and reforms a few months later. This was proven after a brilliant performance at the CPL UK Winter Quals where they pushed GG into overtime and had an overall storming event. Only to fold a month later after a poor performance at the Intel Masers.
My Prediction: 3rd – A sound and comfortable 3rd place is instore in my eyes. I feel that although they may have not prepared as well as they could for the event they have a skill and knowledge base to carry them through. It is interesting to note also that they are bringing 7 players.

Once upon a time all of these players were in 56k clans and compeating against eachother. After quitting their clans they decided to join together and take things serious. Active in clanbase for 2months now they have shot up to the number 3 spot and are looking to have a good enjoyable first LAN event.
My Prediction: 9th – 16th – An early bath instore for eR in my eyes. As I seem to be saying a lot in this preview. It’s all a learning curve.

Most of the players in Xequted have been to LAN events before so they should know the procedures and not be phased. Unfortunately I don’t see much of a promising LAN for Xeq and I cant see them making a big impression.
